This is where I started my freelance business. I began by volunteering for the promotion committee designing posters, t-shirts and other collateral. That volunteer work introduced me to my new community where I successfully built my business by word of mouth alone.

My design work has matured tremendously, but it's important to grow and adapt. I gained skills in communicating within committees, working under a wide range of deadlines, designing for different styles and events and collaborating with community businesses.

I'm especially proud of the Get Up Downtown poster series because it was like a treasure hunt to find the perfect image each month.
